Palo Santo – the "sacred wood" – comes from the Bursera graveolens tree, which grows along the Pacific coast of South America. For centuries, it has been used by indigenous peoples in spiritual rituals – for energetic cleansing , protection , and to strengthen the connection to the spirit world. Even today, the sweet, lemony scent of the white smoke is valued for clearing spaces, dispelling negative energies , and inviting positive vibrations .

The Palo Santo we offer comes exclusively from naturally dead trees that lie on the ground for many years before the wood is harvested. This is the only way to allow the full aroma of the essential oils to develop – entirely in accordance with traditional knowledge and the guidelines of the Peruvian environmental agency SERFOR . The tree is not CITES-listed.

Application tip: Light a piece of Palo Santo, let it burn briefly, and then blow out the flame. The rising fragrant smoke fills the room with clarity and lightness. Palo Santo usually extinguishes on its own and can be used multiple times.
