Welcome to Shinkoko Teahouse

The finest Japanese teas—from matcha to sencha to hojicha—as classic infusions, lattes with fruit puree (also herbal), cold brews, and iced teas. Plus: homemade cookies, Japanese sweets, books on art, Zen, and culture—and a garden to relax in.

What is important to us!

Our philosophy

Our gold price tea "Monde Mishiro"

At the international Monde Selection in Brussels, where over 80 experts honor exquisite foods from all over the world, this Sencha has won the gold award for 13 years in a row - from 2011 to 2024. We can understand that well, it is also one of our absolute favorite varieties. The name says it all: “Mi-shi-ro”, “beauty that rises like gentle mist and inner desires”.

Try first, then buy!

In our tasting kitchen and showroom you can try all the teas and then take them home with you.
During the tasting, we will work together to develop your green tea profile, tailored specifically to you!
