From tea leaf to freshly ground powder

With this Japanese hand mill, you can freshly grind Tencha and other green teas directly before use. If you use Tencha, you can use it to prepare your own fresh Matcha – immediately before whisking or further processing.

The stone mill-like ceramic grinding mechanism is slowly turned by hand. This generates very little heat and protects the aroma of the tea leaves during grinding.

The grinding itself becomes a special part of the preparation: you see how fine green powder gradually emerges from the dry tea leaves, you determine the speed and grind size yourself, and you consciously prepare your Matcha from the very first step. This small ritual makes the Matcha enjoyment even more immediate and elevates it to a new level.

Sencha and other suitable dried green teas can also be processed into fine tea powder – for drinking, for desserts, or for cooking.

Adjust grind size individually

The fineness of the ground material can be regulated via an adjustment screw. This allows you to experiment and find out which grind size is best suited for your tea and the desired use.

The ceramic grinding mechanism is wear-resistant, does not rust, and can be removed for cleaning. An anti-slip base ensures stable support during grinding.
