"Honai" represents the highest quality matcha from the first harvest – obtained from particularly tender tea leaves, harvested in Shiga, a historic tea-growing region in Japan. The result is a noble matcha powder with a velvety-chocolatey aroma, a fine-sweet note, and an intense dark green color.

Koicha – highest matcha quality
This matcha is suitable for Koicha, the particularly concentrated preparation method of the Japanese tea ceremony with little water. Traditionally, only matcha of exceptionally high quality is used for this.
