Shinkoko stands for a responsible and sustainable use of resources. We handle complaints with great care. If you have reason to complain, please contact us immediately by email or phone. We will do everything possible to fulfill your wishes. Returns are an enormous effort for everyone involved: they cost a lot of money, time, and harm the environment. Furthermore, we are a small company that does not have the same resources as big players in online retail. Of course, we replace defective goods. Transit damage is naturally insured, but must be documented with photo or video material. We are always striving for a solution to problems – just get in touch with us.

Right of Withdrawal

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us, Plantago Handels GmbH, Jakob-Stainer-Gasse 17/1, 1130 Vienna, info@shinkoko.at, by means of a clear declaration (e.g., a letter sent by post or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can use the form provided below (“Withdrawal Form”) for this purpose, but it is not mandatory.

To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

The right of withdrawal is excluded for goods that are delivered sealed and are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, provided that their seal has been removed after delivery (unsealing). This applies to the unsealing by opening tea packaging, bamboo products, and all other goods delivered with a seal. (§ 18 Para. 1 Z. 5 Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act)z)

Furthermore, you are liable for damage to the ordered goods from the time they were delivered to you (§ 7b Consumer Protection Act).

Should the goods already be defective or damaged upon delivery, i.e., already defective at the time of delivery, you can return the sealed goods to us. In this case, we ask you to immediately send us a photo documenting the defect or damage to the goods. In this case, we will, of course, cover the shipping costs of the shipping service that delivered the goods to you and send you a new copy of the goods.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including the delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged fees for this repayment.

You must return or hand over the goods to Jakob-Stainer-Gasse 17, 1130, Vienna, without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the period of fourteen days.

We may refuse repayment until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
