Organic Matcha "Nagomi" 30g - harmonious enjoyment for Matcha Latte and pure
"Nagomi" (和) stands for harmony and balance - qualities that are also reflected in its gentle taste. The Japanese organic matcha is the successor to our popular "Shuhou" and is suitable for both classic preparation with water and creamy matcha latte.
The handy 30g pack is ideal for getting to know, for occasional indulgence or for anyone who wants to use their matcha particularly fresh.
Organic Matcha for Usucha & high-quality Matcha Latte
Nagomi is suitable as organic matcha for Usucha, the classic preparation method of the Japanese tea ceremony with relatively more water, as well as for a high-quality matcha latte.
"Ceremonial Grade" is not an official Japanese quality standard. We explain why we differentiate between Usucha and Koicha instead in our blog post.
Taste & Character
"Nagomi" combines fine earthy-chocolate notes with a mild bitterness and gentle umami. Its balanced aroma makes it pleasantly accessible and versatile.
Prepared pure, it appears soft and harmonious. In combination with milk or plant-based drinks, its matcha taste remains clearly perceptible and provides a rounded, creamy matcha latte.
Organic Matcha from Japan
Japanese organic matcha is still rare. Organic farming without chemical-synthetic pesticides requires a lot of experience, patience and careful care of the tea plants.
Our Japanese tea partners combine sustainable management with high-quality processing. This creates an organic matcha that combines responsible cultivation and authentic taste.
Preparation
For a bowl of matcha, sift 1.5–2 g of powder into a chawan. Stir with a small splash of warm water to a smooth paste. Then add 100–150 ml of water at approx. 80 °C and froth the matcha finely with a chasen in quick Z-movements.
For matcha latte, stir 1.5–2 g of "Nagomi" with a little warm water until smooth and then pour in approx. 200 ml of warm or cold milk or plant-based drink. Sweeten to taste and serve with ice cubes for an iced matcha latte.
Packaging & Storage
The colorful 30g pack with red and white koi motifs combines Japanese design with a modern, lively look.
After opening, store well sealed and cool, ideally in the refrigerator.
