Matcha "Honai" – Velvety Depth
30 g – Finest Premium Matcha for special moments of indulgence
"Honai" represents the highest Matcha quality from the first harvest – obtained from particularly tender tea leaves harvested in Shiga, a historic tea-growing region in Japan. The result is a premium Matcha powder with a velvety, chocolaty aroma, a delicate sweet note, and an intense dark green color.
When whisked, it creates a dense, creamy foam – a sign of exceptional freshness and care. "Honai" is ideal for anyone who enjoys Matcha mindfully – whether as a daily ritual or for celebratory occasions.
Koicha – highest Matcha quality
This Matcha is suitable for Koicha, the particularly concentrated preparation method of the Japanese tea ceremony using very little water. Traditionally, only Matcha of exceptionally high quality is used for this.
"Ceremonial Grade" is not an official Japanese quality standard. We explain why we distinguish between Usucha and Koicha instead in our blog post:
