For basic sharpening and noticeably dull knives

Togi 400 is a coarse ceramic whetstone for knives whose edge has become noticeably dull or needs to be completely reground.

With its #400 grit, the stone removes a relatively large amount of material and is therefore particularly suitable for basic sharpening. For the subsequent fine sharpening, it is recommended to continue working with a higher grit, such as the Togi 1000 or Togi 5000.

The ceramic abrasive material offers high sharpening performance and is also suitable for hard knife steels such as Aogami and stainless steel.

Short soaking and stable hold

Before sharpening, the Togi 400 requires only a short soaking.

The included storage box can simultaneously be used as a whetstone holder. This keeps the stone elevated and stable on the work surface during use and allows for protected storage afterwards.
