Kyusu "Iwa" – dark Tokoname teapot with ceramesh filter
Iwa 岩 means "rock" – a name that reflects the striking surface of this Kyusu. The dark, finely structured ceramic is reminiscent of natural stone and gives the teapot a calm, earthy appearance.
With a capacity of 340 ml, "Iwa" is particularly suitable for preparing Sencha and other Japanese green teas.
Inside is a hemispherical Debeso ceramic sieve. It reliably holds back the tea leaves when pouring and does without a separate metal sieve. Thus, "Iwa" combines traditional function with a particularly natural, reduced aesthetic.
