Shudei Clay for a Milder Tea Flavor
The teapot is made from iron-rich Shudei clay. Its interior remains unglazed, allowing the tea to come into direct contact with the clay. The high iron content of the clay can react with the components of the tea, contributing to a milder flavor and a harmonious aroma. We therefore recommend cleaning the pot exclusively with warm water.
Generous Shape and Wide Inner Strainer
The bulbous body provides ample space for the tea leaves to unfurl during infusion. A wide inner strainer holds back the leaves when pouring and supports an even tea flow. The classic side handle allows for controlled and pleasant handling.
