Organic Sencha Sakura - The essence of Japanese spring
Is there anything more Japanese than "Sakura"? The delicate blossoms of the cherry tree are now famous all over the world as a symbol of spring, beauty and transience. But it's not just their velvety appearance, color and scent that caress the senses - their taste is also unique, sweet and delicate. Our organic Sencha blend Sakura captures this essence by combining the sweet and delicate aromas of the dried and candied Sakura blossoms with the refreshing bitterness of the Sencha.
With the start of the cherry blossom season in March on Kyushu, the "sakura zensen" or "cherry blossom front" moves north until it reaches Hokkaido in May. This time is celebrated throughout Japan with " O-Hanami ", the traditional cherry blossom festival . Friends, family and acquaintances make themselves comfortable with picnic baskets under the blossoming trees, eating and drinking together. Beer, sake and of course green tea are always part of the celebration.

Preparation (our recommendation):
- 300 ml water, 70 degrees
- 4-6 g (3 tsp) tea
- 1-2 minutes brewing time
