Nerikoh —also mentioned in "The Tale of Genji" —is a handcrafted incense made from precious woods, herbs, and natural binding agents such as honey or plum pulp. The carefully kneaded blend rests for years in sealed containers until it unfolds its full depth.

The small fragrance beads are gently heated on a smoldering charcoal—never directly burned. Their complex scent changes subtly with the season, humidity, or even the light. Each bead is a small work of fragrance art—unique in its radiance, quiet and effective.
